David S. Hughey attended college at Wheaton College in Illinois and earned his J.D. Degree from The University of Houston in 1987. Mr. Hughey believed that in starting his own practice, he could fully realize his passion for helping people. In 1993, along with his wife, Robin Hughey, he founded Hughey and Hughey. Since then the primary focus of Mr. Hughey's practice has been family law and personal injury.
Mr. Hughey is active in a number of professional organizations including the Dallas Bar Association, the North Dallas Bar Association, and the Collin County Bar Association. He is a dedicated volunteer in various organizations benefiting youth, including services on the boards of Richardson YMCA, Richardson Neighborhood and youth services, and the Allen Sports Association and in school district booster clubs for the Allen and Lovejoy ISD's.
Mr. Hughey has five children. His oldest is now an attorney and a member of the firm.
Robin Hughey attended college at the University of Texas and earned her law degree from the University of Houston in 1987. She has been practicing estate planning and probate since 1988. Mrs. Hughey started Hughey & Hughey with husband, David S. Hughey, in 1993. Since then the primary focus of Mrs. Hughey’s practice has been estate planning and probate.
Mrs. Hughey has served in the Richardson Bar Association and has been a member of the Collin County Bar Association. She has been a dedicated volunteer in many organizations benefiting youth including various PTAs, dance teams and sports teams for the Allen and Lovejoy ISD’s.
