Allen CVB Welcomes New Office Manager

Ms. Alexander joined the team on June 24th and is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the office and serving as a point of customer service. In addition to managing the department’s database and inventory, she will support the needs of groups and meetings that ACVB helped book in Allen.

“I am excited to welcome Rachel to the Visit Allen team and know that her organizational skills and project planning experience will serve her well in this new role,” said ACVB Director Karen Cromwell.

Prior to joining ACVB, Ms. Alexander worked as the Director of Tournament and Banquet Sales for the Woodbridge Golf Club in Wylie, TX. She began in the golf club’s food and beverage service department and worked her way up with several promotions during her four years of employment.

Ms. Alexander was born and raised in Plano, TX and attended Plano East Senior High. She went on to major in Business Management and minor in Marketing at the University of Arkansas where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in three years.

“Working for a City municipality has been a goal of mine, and I was ready to take the next step in my career,” said Ms. Alexander. “I am looking forward to meeting all the destination partners and helping make events and meetings come to life.”
